INSTANT ICE PACKS
The Instant Ice Pack is a product which has been developed to turn instantly cold without the need of refridgeration.
The ice pack will maintain and is carried/stored at ambient room temperatures until activation is required. By simply squeezing the inner pack an endothermic chemical reaction is initiated, making the liquid within the pack cold (5 degrees celsius) in three (yes 3!) seconds. An activated pack will only have liquid inside the pack. After usage, the pack can be discarded as the chemical contents are biodegradable.
Instant Ice Packs are used in numerous applications; atsports centres, clinics, hospitals, or general usage and is an especially handy addition to any existing first aid kit. The main advantage of the ice pack over conventional ice packs are:-
1. no messy water to clean up afterwards
2. can be activated anywhere, anytime especially when direct access to a fridge and ice is not available
Simple disposal of the pack can be made in ordinary household waste. Rest assured that the chemicals used are biodegradable!
